In 2022, Omkar Gharat entered AMCO Solutions’ office in India, feeling nervous for his very first interview. Today, he is a Technical Consultant and recently served on an interview panel representing AMCO. His story highlights how growth and opportunity are interconnected. Campus drives are always buzzing with energy—the anticipation, the preparation, and the excitement of discovering future talent. But this particular event felt extra special for me.
In 2022, I entered AMCO Solutions as a nervous candidate for my very first interview. Fast forward to today, I found myself sitting on the other side of the table, representing AMCO as part of the interview panel.
Time truly flies. This experience gave me a fresh perspective on growth, responsibility, and the power of opportunity.
AMCO Solutions’ India team hosted a campus drive to connect with bright minds and identify students with skills and passion to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment, such as the finance tech industry.
1. Meeting the Next Generation of Talent
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was electric. More than 80 students participated, each bringing a unique mix of curiosity, confidence, and determination. Watching their enthusiasm reminded me of the day I sat in their place, wondering what my future would hold.
2. The Interview Experience
Evaluating the students’ skills was a surreal moment for me. As a OneStream Technical Developer, I’m usually occupied with building and enhancing solutions. Stepping into the interviewer role showed me how much AMCO has shaped me since 2022.
I learned the importance of making candidates feel at ease—because a calm mind reveals true potential. Many shared impressive ideas, strong problem-solving skills, and a genuine eagerness to learn.
3. Team Collaboration at Its Best
The success of this event was a team effort. From organising interview rounds to ensuring smooth communication, the AMCO India team worked seamlessly to create a positive experience for everyone.
4. University Engagement
The faculty at the university were welcoming and supportive.
Their commitment to preparing students for the corporate world was evident in the confidence and clarity these young individuals displayed.
This collaboration strengthened AMCO’s relationship with the academia and reinforced our dedication to nurturing young talent.
Campus drives are more than recruitment events—these are opportunities to build connections, inspire students, and showcase AMCO’s culture of growth.
We discovered motivated candidates who could soon join our growing family.
It reinforced AMCO’s commitment to empowering future professionals.
And personally, it reminded me how far I’ve come and how much impact a person can make when given the chance.
