Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Administrative Assistant who will play a key role in supporting our other regions and making a significant impact across the organization.

In this role, you will manage accounts payable and receivable, ensure accurate processing of daily transactions and financial documents, and handle periodic month-end and year-end closings. You will also prepare payment batches and provide vital support to the controller.

Job Description

  • Handle bookkeeping from A-Z for AMCO Benelux and AMCO Holding.
  • Conduct checks and record data to ensure timely and complete month-end closings, supporting business operations.
  • Review externally prepared VAT, ICP, and wage tax declarations, and ensure their timely processing.
  • Prepare invoices and conduct intercompany reconciliations.
  • Contribute to administrative processes by proposing concrete improvements.
  • Assist the Finance Controller with monthly financial reporting, the monthly consolidation and corporate group charging processes.
  • Support with ad-hoc finance requests from regions and the CEO.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Open to international travel
  • Completed MBO or HBO in Business Administration.
  • Relevant work experience in financial administration and accounting.
  • For this role, fluency in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written, is essential. Given the focus on financial processes within the Netherlands, in-depth knowledge of Dutch tax legislation, financial regulations, and local market practices is a must. The ability to communicate effectively and operate within a Dutch-speaking environment is crucial for success in this position.
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems. Twinfield and MS Office and particularly MS Excel are a plus.
  • Team player, analytical, independent, precise, hands-on, flexible, and service-oriented.
